Online Safety
At Chester-le-Street CE Primary School, the safety and wellbeing of your children is our top priority—including their safety when using technology and accessing online media. We are committed to providing a secure learning environment both in school and beyond.
At the start of each school year, we reteach Online Safety as our beginning unit, which sets clear expectations for safe and responsible use of digital devices and online platforms. We also provide ongoing education around online safety as part of our curriculum to empower children with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate the digital world safely.
To support families, we offer regular parent workshops and resources throughout the year, keeping you informed about current online risks, safety tools, and ways to protect your child’s wellbeing in an ever-changing digital landscape.
Together, we work to ensure that every child can enjoy the benefits of technology while staying safe and confident online.
